Thread Ring Gauge maintenance and repair

After using the thread ring gauge, the attachments to the measuring part should be cleaned in time and stored in the specified measuring tool box.

When using measuring tools at the production site, they should be placed in the designated position for the process and handled with care to prevent damage to the measuring surface due to bumps. It is strictly prohibited to use measuring tools as cutting tools to forcefully screw into threads to avoid early wear. The adjustable thread ring gauge is strictly prohibited from being adjusted at will by non-measurement staff to ensure the accuracy of the measuring tool. If the ring gauge is not used for a long time, it should be handed over to the measurement management department for safekeeping.

Measuring tools in use should be measured with a calibration plug gauge once every working day.

After the adjustable thread ring gauge is adjusted, the measurement part will be out of round. This phenomenon must be measured and verified again by metrological repair personnel after thread grinding. Only after each size is qualified can it be put into use.
